The Disquieting Birth
of an
Unexpected Ministry
During the spring of 2009, I lost my two closest "partners" to alcoholism. . . within only thirty-five days.
One of them, Mrs. Sammy Davis, Jr., was my co-writer on a screenplay. The other was my fiance.
Once I recovered from the shock of their deaths, I knew my life would never be the same. The experiences I'd witnessed were so horrific that there seemed only one way to find peace. I began a ministry to help prevent these tragedies from striking others' lives, especially youth, and founded a production company to share inspiring stories to help build hope.
